What happened to this post?

Check out this FAQ and question form to find out what happened to posts on the board that appear to have been deleted. Please be sure to read the FAQ before submitting a question about a post to save both your time and AnGeL X's. Many explainations are right here for you to find.

I posted a new thread on the board, but now it's gone. Was it deleted and why?
First, be sure to check the board carefully and look in the archives to make sure your post wasn't just moved. Second, make sure you weren't breaking any rules in your post. If you don't think you were, you can E-mail AnGeL X or use the form at the bottom of this page to inquire about the deletion.

I replied to a thread, but my post is gone. What happened?
There are two possible causes: your post was removed due to it's content or you replied to a post that was removed. If the post you replied to is still there, but yours isn't, then most likely, your post was removed for breaking the rules in some way. If you don't know how your post could have been breaking the rules or why your post was removed, you can E-mail AnGeL X or use the form at the bottom of this page to inquire about the deletion.

The main page of the board's been completely cleared of my posts (or the posts of another regular). Why?
As of March 2003, if a Regular chooses to blatantly ignore the rules by bashing/flaming/breaking major rules on a recurring basis, the poster risks having the entire board cleared of their messages, regardless of the content, at AnGeL X's discretion. It's in part a way for the problem posts to be removed from the board and spare AnGeL X the wasted time of reading every single post by that regular to see what's good and bad and in part, a message to the rule-breaking poster to KNOCK IT OFF! Don't waste AnGeL X's time by knowingly breaking the rules and she won't waste yours by deleting all your posts.

There was a perfectly good post on the board and now it's gone? I know there weren't any rules broken...
The explaination for this one is kind of on a case by case basis. The main reason perfectly good posts are removed is that the poster was a known bazoar. The other possible reason is that although the starting post was perfectly fine, the replies got out of hand. Or, Voy went loopy and removed it for some reason. If you notice that a seemingly good post was removed and want to know the reason why, you can E-mail AnGeL X or use the form at the bottom of this page to inquire about the deletion.

If your question about a post isn't answered above, please use the form below to ask AnGeL X about the post. You can also E-mail AnGeL X directly, if you'd prefer. The form is just in effort to make it as easy as possible for posters to ask questions instead of jumping to incorrect conclusions about why posts were removed.
